MySpace Community

I want some feedback on the MySpace phenomonon.
Here's the questions:

Do you have a MySpace account? Why or why not?
How much time would you say you spend on MySpace every week?
What is so apealing about MySpace?
Do you think people are more honest about who they are on MySpace, or are they more pretend because they can be relatively anonomous?

A friend of mine said, "When you think about it, MySpace is kinda nerdy..." Sitting in front of acomputer screen and talking with people you don't even know. What do you think about his statement?

The Much Anticipated New TRL/MNL Series

After much e-conversation we have finally arrived at what we'll be talking about over the next 10 weeks or so at TRL/MNL...

"People We Love to hate: groups who've been abused, hurt, rejected and despised!"

Over the centuries there have been lots of groups who have been considered "the enemy". They've been abused, rejected, despised and hurt. Whether you're thinking about Jews during WWII, African Americans in the middle of the Twentieth Century, or Christians during the time of Nero there have always been groups who take the brunt of a culture's hatred. What makes people ? What causes certain group to be on the receiving end of the hatred? What does God have to say about all of this? The unfortunate reality is that very often the hating is done under the umbrella of religion. Does God condone hatred? What does He have to say about , about groups of people who are d, or about the ones doing the hating?

Sound intriguing? I thought so too! So show up starting Tuesday January 3rd (Or Monday January 9th) and we'll see where we end up.

The groups we're planning on tackling are:
~Other Races
~Other Religions
~Siblings
~Parents
~People in Authority (over us)
~Homosexuals
~Disabled
~Anyone Different (from us) AKA: 'Dorks, Geeks, & Nerds...Oh my!'

If you think we're missing a people group feel free to blog it here!

Welcome to 2006!

Man, a whole new year! What a crazy thought? Did you make any New Year's Resolutions? Come on, be honest! Feel free to drop them here and we'll hold you accountable to keeping them!
