New Year's Resolution

Honestly I think they're a little cliche, but New Year's resolutions can be good. Really anything that encourages a person to do something better, or stop doing something that isn't healthy has merit. The Jew's had a number of festivals that maintained the idea of starting over, or renewing right behavior.

So, what are your New Year's Resolutions? Also, what are some resolutions that you think 'normal' people make?

I didn't make one this year, aha I haven't really any year. I agree that they're cliche, but also if there's something about me that I want to change, I start working on that immediately; I don't wait till new year aha. But here are what I think some 'average' new years' revolutions...i mean resolutions:

-Stop drinking
-START drinking
-stop smoking
-be nicer
-work out more
-lose weight

Aaaand yeah.

I don't know aha joe weathers once said that maybe his new years' resolution would be to start drinking so that his next new years' resolution would be to stop. So that's where that came from :)

I think that new year's resolutions are the picture of procrastination, in general if I want to make a radical change in my life I start immedietly, waiting till new years is the same as pulling a "put-off" (wow all these alliterations, I just cant stop!)
