The Pursuit Has Begun!
So the new series-- The Pursuit-- began last Tuesday night.
Remember the dates:
--October 21st for High School, that's when the game portion of The Pursuit begins. Between now and then you need to bring $5 to LIFE to sign up. You'll get your name and your gun October 21st.
-- October 25th will be for JH only. Laser tag at the church. Sign-ups will happen the 2 weeks before and the cost will be $1 (to cover batteries).
The other thing I'm looking for in this space is to hear your stories about being pursued by God. Talk about a time when you definitely knew God was after you. Or what about a time when you were after God? What things do you do to pursue God? Ever caught him? What was that like?

I've realized over the past few weeks that the more I begin to drift away from God, my life gets dramatically worse. I mean, no one's diagnosed with cancer or anything like that; but when I start forgetting to spend time with the Lord, drama steps back into my life. I think this is God's pursuit with me.
I just finished this book last week called "The Shack" and part of it deals with this guy who has to forgive the dude who murdered his daughter.
Then yesterday Pastor Paul's sermon talked some about forgiveness... pretty sure this is God pursuing me over some unresolved forgiveness issues in my life.
I'm glad God doesn't just let me stay stuck!
