American Idol
So the next MNL/TRL series is called American Idol. We think it would be fun to do a whole spoof on the TV phenomenon American Idol.
Here's what that would look like:
First Week: American Idol style talent show. I need people who will do some real talent type acts, but I also want some folks who are willing to do some goofball stuff (like real bad Haiku poetry) to give our judges a chance to "rail"!
Following Weeks: We'll talk about the things Americans Idolize (like money, popularity, etc) and what God has to say about that stuff in His Word. We'll also wrap in some "great" acts from the first few seasons of American Idol (the TV show).
I need two things from you:

Cool dude. Ok, things people idolize... well def. money. It's funny how money (haha it rhymes) is so essential to our surviving in the world, yet it makes people loco en la cavesa. I think a lot of young people (like us!) try really super hard to "fit in" or "be cool." Some peole go to the extremes in trying to be "cool."

In the homeschool science group thing that I went to last year we dissected fish (I don't remember what kind) and un-born pigs. It was really sad I made Rebekah do the first cut. ='( But then I took the brain, the intestine and the heart home and left in the freezer forever. yeah, well, i only have three teachers, and i like two of them, so i guess thats pretty good compared to some people. My science/math teacher's name is ms.bauldauff, and she paid me ten dollars to play her blessed be your name (song we play at youth group)in class to help pay for my dream guitar, which would be a fender stratocaster, and I got one yesterday!!! YAY!!! anyway, my english teachers name is ms.cargasacchi and she's just really nice to everyone and she's always in a good mood. my social studies/spanish teacher is insane. he probably gives out three detentions a day for no reason. his name is mr.inverso, and he's kind of paranoid about students TOUCHING THE FLOOR!!! one time he gave me detention because i got out of my seat to give him a pencil he dropped on the floor. but, like i said i only have one more week of school left, so he'll be "restrained" from givong detentions for awhile. and yes, i'm boreed too. wow, i just noticed how long this post is.

But my mom's co-worker is letting me borrow his Fender Stratocaster and his cheap little amp and it's AWESOME. I want it. But I'd rather have an LTD F-400. But it's like $1,049. So a 100 model would suit me just as well. I don't really care for school. I'm home-schooled. Joel says that being homeschooled and dropping out are almost the same things! So, I like it. I wanna make a long post too! Let me try let me try! Ok, so today I was doing my math and my pencil was really dull. I hate dull pencils. In kindergarten my teacher was missing half or her middle finger and it was gross looking. This is probably gonna be really random. Today I got an e-mail from Dogwood's (the coolest Christian punk band ever) newsletter and I found out that they're old drummer is coming back! Yay! He's better than the other one they had. ALSO they're writing new material!!! Yay! They've been together since 1994. AND they're gonna be touring in So-Cal. They're coming to Ventura, and I can't go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Facedown records is a Christian hardcore record label. They are based in Pomona, CA. So every year they have Facedown Fest in Pomona. This year I finally got to go!!! I was sooooo excited. So, the first night was awesome but the 2nd night was even awesome-er. BECAUSE I got to meet like..... all kinds of band members and I got a free shirt! Plus lot's of CDs. It was soooo much fun. Also, when we were down there we decided to take advantage of the oppurtunity (spelling?) and go see Haste the Day in Anaheim. Then we met these 2 really cool guys and they were really nice and they let us cut in line and they came all the way from Texas. That concert was sooooo awesome as well. I love concerts cuz I do. My sister was all like ya know singing and stuff and we were like the only girls having a good time and the bass player in HTD like waved and pointed and was like "Yeah!" So Felicia (my sister) was stoked. Tomorrow the home-school group is going to Hurricane Harbor and I'm not going. ='( Waaahhhaaaa!!!!!! I'm so sad. My leg hurts. I pulled a muscle in my leg. It's only like 9:30 and I'm tired. I woke up at like 5 cuz I had this weird dream and like.... my cousin or something had a baby in a hotel and then it almost caught on fire and then we went to this boot camp thing and there were these really big swings and this kid jumped off and broke his leg and it was all on backwards and it looked weird. Wow, that was one big sentence. In my dream I was wearing my Fox jacket and so was Kayleen. No one is even going to read this so I'm going to stop.

yeah, my first guitar was an acoustic johnson. and i still own it. but now i have three. i have the acoustic, an ibanez srp400 bass guitar, and my new one i told you about that hasn't got to my house yet, (and might i also add is my favorite), my fender stratocaster! yay! its this cool red color, but its not...red. yeah. i'm sure you've seen my bass because for the past two weeks i've been bringing it to youth group so i can practice with chris before we start.
Cool, Fender starts are cool. The one that I'm.... borrowing for an extended amount of time (hopefully for like ever.) is just the boring black and white ones. But yeah.

HI! i had two energy drinks at like nine o'clock, so i'm wired! it's 2:07 a.m on my kitchen clock right now, and i'm not even tired! with the way things are going, i could probably go two or THREE more hours without the slightest bit of sleep! i'm trying to be REALLY quiet right now because if i wake up my mom, bad things will happen, so i'm typing really slow and lightly right now so i don't make any noise. now i think all of you would agree that this is the pinnacle of boredom, nobody is EVER bored enough to post something at 2 in the morning!
