Upcoming TRL/MNL Series

People believe a whole lot of things about Christianity-- like it's a religion-- that just simply aren't true. Sometimes those beliefs have a basis of truth-- some folks make Christianity a religion of rules and repetitions-- but aren't truly true. So over the next couple of months I want to look at some of the biggest myths about what it means to be a Christian, Christianity, Jesus, and anything related!

So here's your chance to shape the series: give me some things that people think about Christians, Christianity, Jesus, etc that might just not be totally accurate. Maybe I'll deal with yours!?! (PS: The harder the better!)

Um...i think the typical person(secular) believes that Christianity isn't the "fun" life, you know? Or I've heard some stories of how people think that some of the Bible is true, some of it isn't. And my favorite is...people who think they follow the rules(not necessarily Biblical rules), are classified under Christian. So...that's pretty much it for me.

ok for starters...i think people tend to just group all religious beliefs into the word christian. soo i think a study on denominations or what isnt a denomination or whatever...like we're always grouped with mormanism and catholicism and JW and stuff...i think people need to see that they're not all the same...i think we may have done this a couple years back but who knows...
then also what ricky said...and maybe (even though this is like one of the core awana teachings) teaching that just because you go to church doesnt make you a Christian. like even, i've seen where people think "well i only have to go to church on easter and christmas" and they think that's enough to save them...
anyways...something including any, all, or none of the above...
