Questions, Questions, Questions

We're reading this book in the Young Adult group on Sunday mornings called "Through Painted Deserts". Anyhow, the author makes the comment that we typically are all about asking the "how" questions instead of the "why" questions. In other words, we often ask questions like "how do I make a good living?", or "how can I live a good Christian life?" but seldom ask deeper questions like "why would I want to make a good living?" or "why should I desire to live a Christian life?".

So I was wondering what are some of your "WHY" questions? I think there are at least three huge ones everyone must answer to be fully human:
1)Why am I here (in the cosmic sense)?
2) Why am I here (in the personal sense)?
3) What will happen when I die (technically not a 'why' question...I know!)?

So the two responses I'm looking for from you would be any of your "why" questions, as well as what your answer to the big three questions I just posted would be.

um...uh...i don't know if i have any 'why' questions at the moment. but here are my answers to the other ones...

1)i'm here because God put me here.
2)i'm here because God put me here.
3)what will happen when i die? i don't know about you, but i'm sure that i'm going to heaven, because of my relationship with Jesus Christ.

Chris you know whats weird you know how last night at youth group we talked about that the why questions, well today we had a sub in English and some one asked a question and the sub said some thing about that, like why are we here some thing like that. I was like that sounds familiar then I remembered you talked about it last night.

Hmmmm... do I have a why question,
yes I do. I want to know why sometimes it feels like you have no direction in life and you pray and seem to get no answer, although I am sure there is a good reason for it out there somewhere....
